At the entrance of the exhibition, close-ups of Tod’s products by Giovanni Gastel hang from three large black volumes. In the main room, tall display units, with light strips in the upper part, are suspended above floor level and placed along an irregular grid. Below their bases, different coloured lighting indicates three different exhibition themes. Screened by polycarbonate sheeting, the units display Tod’s products and materials together with Ferrari-related objects.
Dynamic projections and video projections of personalities from the world of cinema and automobiles constitute an integral part of the exhibition design. Standing on platforms located at the four sides of the exhibition, teams of craftsmen offer a live demonstration of the different stages of product-making.
