Conceived for the National Council of the Architects, Planners, Designers and Conservators (CNAPPC) on the occasion of the Interni Magazine Human Spaces (Milan Design Week 2019), the project involves a network of suspended and interwoven elements that invades the atrium of the Great Hall of the Università degli Studi di Milano, constructing a sort of spatial binding recalling the constant connection to the environment and the context that leads the designer during their work.

The connection generated in this way also serves as both a physical and conceptual synthesis of the network of relations established by the CNAPPC in order to engage a wider public, raising awareness of the close correlation between the quality of the architectural project and the final quality of the place in which we live.
Below this dense network, the theme of sharing is interpreted through the architect’s work bench, a meeting place and space for processing new ideas. It is thus represented by a system of tables at different heights, in strong dialogue with the natural light. Graphics and objects are displayed on it, offering provocations, suggestions and inspirations on the theme of “inhabiting the country”.
The space becomes thus a narrative means in itself, transforming an area of transit into a place with a rich identity, where visitors can stop by.
In synergy with the values of CNAPPC, the set-up fully expands on the studio’s poetic approach, which is aimed at giving shape to pathways with a balance between the concepts of connection and sharing. Hence, the two levels of content identified relate to two layers of environmental narratives, making the visitor an active protagonist in the story unfolding.
